Thorpe List
Here is the preseason watch list for the Jim Thorpe Award. A notable omission is USC cornerback Shareece Wright. Of course, a watch list is not final and someone can win the award who is not mentioned. But it's still surprising.

Brandon Boykin, CB, Georgia
Curtis Brown, CB, Texas
Kendric Burney, CB, North Carolina
Brandon Burton, CB, Utah
Rashad Carmichael, CB, Virginia Tech

It's Rahim's to lose.
The Thorpedo?
What makes you think Wright deserves to be on the list? he didnt even play last year, wasnt he in jail or something?
Thats pretty retarded that he didn't even make pre-season watch list. Dude is one of the 2 or 3 best players at his position in the country.
why is it surprising his name is not on the list? he's not even a returning starter. $uckaFREE, please! Please tell me how or why and who said he's one of the top 2 or r best players in his postion in the country. I can't wait to read your reply.
He probably should be on the list...according to the prospects list here, he's a top 15 player at his position and top 100 overall.

"Well, Shareece, have the lambs stopped screaming?"
Ha! Get it? And speaking of crazy, I thought NDLarry's doctor said he shouldnt be allowed to use the internet anymore because all the bad Noter Dame news upsets him.
NDLarry, take your medacation!
They should probably just rename it the Rahim Moore award after he wins 2 or 3 of them.
@NDLarry
Its pretty obvious to me he's one of the best at his position simply because he's a true shut down corner who can neutralize the other teams best wideout on gameday. He also brings a gritty type of toughness to the position which enables him to play the run better than any corner in the country. You'll find out soon enough what Im talking about NDLarry(Im assuming notre dame fan) november 27th aint that far away!
Oh and for what its worth he's the highest corner on NCAA 11! :)
$uckaFREE, if he's that good then why wasn't he a starter last year?
NDLoser, aka big mouth. Well? Where can I contact you for the bet that SC loses to both ND and Fucla? Oh, I guess you really didn't mean it. Big Mouth
@NDLarry
He was ineligible last year for the regular season he only played in the bowl game.
NOBS, 100K bet or no bet at all, 10K us chump change...prove to me you have the funds or STFU. yes I do think UCLA will beat USC but I'n not willing to bet on it, I will however bet that Notre Dame will beat USC.
$uckaFREE, well then that's makes your statement even less credible! he's been inactive for two years, don't you think you're jumping the gun just a little? But I love your optimism.
Hi $uckaFREE,
I completely agree as does RoJo who says no one can cover him like he can. Every receiver agrees that they have never been covered by anyone close to Shareece.
Hi NDLarry,
First of all Shareece is both healthy and eligible - in his case a very dangerous combination! Secondly, I find it unlikely that you can bet anything - except over posts of course. Anyone that has as much time as you to post so much on other teams websites strikes me as a kid in his mommies home, not a ND alumni with his own liter jet. You just strike me as someone that is full of .... Just an observation.
As for your childish bet, how would you transmit the funds, who would be the custodian, how would anyone trust you to not be some scumbag con artist (which you look like in your posts)? I find your comments not worthy of a true ND alum who I know several and have lots of respect for.
Lastly, ND will have a great new coach, but they still have no experienced or proven QB and have lots of defensive problems to solve. Tua can't play D by himself. ND is a rebuilding project that is a few years away from knowing their true identity under Kelly.
I've never been a fan of watch lists. They pretty much eliminate the majority of players for no reason.
NDLoser, leave me your phone number, you know at the personal phone booth you use in South Bend by the College Hall of Fame. I can use that 100k for my real estate property taxes next year.
