ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper says defensive tackle Jurrell Casey might be the top tackle in next year's NFL draft.
``Casey could overtake Marvin Austin as the top DT in the draft. Still a mountain of NFL talent remaining on this roster,'' Kiper said of USC.
There is talent....and while SC lost Pete Carrolll, the massive upgrade at the Assistant Coach Level will bring out that talent this year, especially on defense. The scholarship hits may start a decline in the future however.

Two scary thoughts.
1) What Kiffin is quoted as saying. Kiffin said he decided to suspend Baxter after "examining his seven months here." "I looked at it as a total package and felt that this was an extremely strong message to him, to our team, and the freshman class of our expectations," the coach added.
Do we have a head case on our hands? I am not going to bury this kid, but why would CLK make that statement. Hopefully we can nip the problem in the bud.
