Lane Kiffin said USC does not really have a third-string quarterback with Jesse Scroggins out because he is not cleared by the NCAA. Dillon Baxter would be the No. 3 but he is suspended for the Hawaii game.

I understand lining him up at QB for the Wildcat, but would he really start at QB ahead of Kan & Manoogian?
who's better at QB: boyd, manoogian or kan? it just occurred to me that usc can probably beat ucla with usc's 4th or maybe 5th string QB (if scroggins is eligible). how can this be with all of ucla's supposedly great recruiting? maybe just too much quantity and not enough quality.
