Big day for Pete Carroll as the Seattle Caesarhawks crushed the San Francisco 49ers 31-6. Meanwhile, former USC player Clay Matthews had seven tackles, 2 sacks and forced a fumble to help the Green Bay Packers defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 27-20.

Clay was an absolute monster. He was never this good at USC; his progress has been unbelievable. He'll be a Pro Bowl-caliber player for a long time.

Watched Pete beat my beloved 9ers. Gotta say, 9ers outplayed them in the first half but didn't execute. Hawks may have put up 31 but only had 242 total yards to show for it. Hawk fans better not get too excited.
