USC has won 31 straight night games according to Lane Kiffin. I checked and he's actually right. He might not acknowledge player birthdays (like Pete Carroll) but he gets his stats right (so far).

lbc: well, LSU and FLA both won 2 BCS titles.
and multiple teams have made it to multiple BCS champeenship games: Fla St, OSU, Miami, OK, & Tex.
following the vacated Orange Bowl game which is stricken from the record books, Southern Cal has made it to one BCS champeenship game (and lost it to Tex).
who can forget that epic 4th & 2 play? the look on Reggie's face as he looked on helplessly from the sidelines will haunt me as long as i live :(
Don't you mean 31 straight *home* night games? Night game losses at Oregon in 2009 and at Oregon State in 2008 are a couple that come to mind.
Kiffin referred to 31 straight HOME wins at night. Otherwise just look at the last 2 trips to Oregon.

ummmm...well, ok if it's not right, then the only thing that i am thinking is it could be yet another copy editor gaffe by wolf's staff. due to the economy, wolf's staff has been somewhat compromised on occasion, but wolf keeps ooooooooooono scooopin'!!!!!
Both Oregon games as well as the Oregon State game aren't considered night games. They were like 5pm starts and it was still light out!

Pete Carroll's time at USC will be remembered for many things (not all of them positive), but his handling of stats and players' birthdays should not be high on that list.
Here's hoping the UCLA game kicks off at 7:00 so we can put an end to another stupid SUC stat. Akeem Ayers is already licking his chops at the prospect of running down Fatt Barkley and your slow RBs.
