Poll Results
The viewers of the ESPN show SportsNation were polled today on these questions:
Who will have a better season?
27 percent Matt Barkley
73 percent Terrelle Pryor
And 83 percent of 3,300 polled said USC's defense giving up 36 points to Hawaii was a ``big deal.''

83% sounds a bit low............
It's not that USC gave up 36 points; rather the concern is the WAY USC gave up those points. Badly missed tackles. Uncovered receivers in wide open spaces. Offside penalties. Lack of depth exposed.
What would a hurry up offense do against this defense, especially in the 4th quarter? Last year, USC was trampled on the ground by Stanford and Oregon. I can't recall the last time where USC gave up so much through the air (cue NJ Trojan). Is this the return of the 2005 defense? I hope not. Remember Fresno St? Texas?
Is that a surprise? Barkley is considered third best QB in the Pac-10 at best. Pryor is a Heisman candidate.
"Considered" third best in the Pac-10, that's the key. We'll see come December.
Barkley: 5 TDs 0 INTs
That's already 1/3 of the TDs he had last season. He's in for a good year.

By whom, exactly?? You?!?
I'm almost positive Mel Kiper called Barkley the 1st Overall Pick of the 2012 NFL Draft before he'd even taken a single snap in college.
Let me say: he's hasn't proven to be wrong.
Fox Sports ranked the top 50 college players. No Trojans, and Luck was only 45 and Locker 35. What a flipping joke.
