Pumping Up The Opponent

Earlier in the week, USC defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin tried to pump up Minnesota's offense by reciting statistics.
``They are 35th in offense,'' he said. ``Their quarterback has an efficiency of 145.''
But Kiffin was wrong. The Gophers are actually better than he credited them. They rank 29th offensively and quarterback Adam Weber's efficiency rating is 156.61.
