Starting Tailback

| | Comments (10) |

Although there was a lot of discussion who would start at tailback, Lane Kiffin knew all week he would start fullback Stanley Havili at the tailback spot this week. The Trojans' practiced their no-huddle package and Havili starts at tailback because he knows all the blocking formations.

Congrats to the Bruins from a big Trojan fan, the best thing is Wolf will still have Texas ranked #1 come Monday. No he probably drops them to #3.

It doesnt matter who the starting TB will be or at any other position for that matter. This team and program are light years away from playing for a National Championship, which is all that matters. Hopefully it wont be a 25 year gap between titles again, but I could see it happening very easily.

As much as I dislike the gutty little bRuins, I also offer my congratulations, you guys OWN the Longhorns. Way to represent the PAC 10.

Havili is a beast. He could start at tail back if he wanted to, but he is super arrogant and super awesome and he doesn't give a fu&k. That's why he plays FB so he can smash bruin LB's and also catch passes in the back field. You don't know what he is!! Fight On!!!

Good job gutties & Cardinal and USC'89 is 10000% correct in his assessment of this program right now, thanks PC.

Slob - I already congratulated the Bruins on the win. Its good for the Pac 10. But two games does not make a season and it clearly proves Texas was overrated.

Congratulations to the Bruins. They wiped out Texas. The Longhorns are overrated. Anytime a ranked team gets blown out by an unranked team, they are by any definition overrated. In this case, the Longhorns just got their asses kicked.
