Here's my worthless .02...

USC will ask the NCAA to count this year as one of the years of scholie reductions...the NCAA will allow it. My bet is that the NCAA will reduce the ban to 1 year and the scholie reduction to 5 per year for 2 more years.

I have absolutely no reason to believe this way, I simply do.

You are a little confused, Houston was the preseason favorite to win Conference USA. Coming into the UCLA game they were averaging more than 60 pts. per game. Their Quarterback was considered to be one of the best in College football. They came in ranked #24 in the country. UCLA held them to 13 pts.
Southern Cal will end the season at 5 wins and 8 Loses..The early season CREAM PUFF schedule will come in to play. Lame will be on the hot seat (Haden doesn't care for his type, Parks and Recreation-Maybe it was Recreational Vehicles? YOU outscored Virginia by 3 points! BRAVO! VERY IMPRESSIVE (and you wonder why after each "win", your position in rankings DROPS).

Minnesota (unranked)..A team that strikes fear into.....NO ONE! Forecast to finish LAST IN THE CONFERENCE (0-8) Again your SUPERCHARGED offense put up 32 BIG ONES while allowing 21 points to these CELLAR DWELLERS. Excuse me for not being impressed.

1) Being 4-5 star recruits doesn't matter when they're all freshman and sophomores (playing 2 of first three games on the road).
2) We put up 17 points in our 2nd game. UCLA put up 0.
3) K-State went 6-6 last year--Bruins lose.
4) Houston plays in Conference-USA and has never played in a BCS game. No NFL talent. Good win (at home) Bruins.
5) Really? 0 points against a Stanford defense? That's impressive. Didn't think Stanford could shut out a Pac-10 offense. Bruins=new low.

I'm sure UCLA will be "competitive" on the road @ Texas. Then you'll say "at least we were competitive against a legit team." Nice try. No moral victories in the box score.

Not only did we beat Case Keenum, but we also beat the other 3 QBs Houston played. Most schools have a hard time winning with their #4 QB and Houston showed it.

As far as the spread, SC is 0 -3 ATS because of 2 point conversions and garbage time TD's. Can't see why this game will be any different. Sharp money is taking the points every week until SC proves me wrong. All i know is we are bout to be 4 and oooohhh baby and looking to rock the pac 10 this year with a big ass chip on our shoulder.

@ThaiMex - you realize Keenum came into the game "concussed" right? That might have made a difference when passing right into the chest of Akeem Ayers in the endzone. Just sayin'. (the gutty little bruins did play a good game though - I think I'll revise my prediction from 2-10 to 3-9)

@lbctrojan, regarding your "trojan news" - when did Fili Maola get out of jail?...also, who's making excuses? and I really don't think USC is better than UCLA, at all! UCLA has had one of the toughest schedules in the country, while USC has had the easiest schedule EVER. Had USC played the same schedule UCLA's had, I seriously doubt USC would be 3-0, in fact they would be 0-3 fact. I see USC going 4-6 the rest of the season. Sorry, I call it as I see it.
