USC won 3 straight Rose Bowls and an Emerald Bowl, while in all those years, UCLA won an Eagle Bank Bowl.

I have yet to see a USC transfer do well. Corp was poor at best. Shoe didn't do great. Vidal did OK, but got hurt late ...again. Emmanuel Moody is lucky to get 5 carries a game. Why do these guys transfer? Good for guys like Mustain that stick it out. So much for that UCLA monopoly, huh?

torpedowoman, how many time must I post the same commentary...UCLA lost to a very good team, if you're looking for excuses you're not going to get them from me...but I will say, UCLA looked better in defeat than your USC trojans did in victory. No way in hell Barkley would have done what he did vs. the KSU defense, and now way in hell would the poor tacking USC defense have stopped Daniel Thomas...UCLA was in a position to tie the game witn one minute left in the game...USC would never have been in the game after three quarters...true, it was the first game of the season for USC and just as it isn't fair to judge completely USC's performance in their first game, it isn't fair to judge UCLA's performance in their first game either. Key mistakes, UCLA stopped KSU on fourth and goal - but had 12 men on the field...KSU scored the TD and it was the difference in the game. Eight dropped passes by reliable receivers is not something you will see again this season, I guarantee it! The Bruins are back, and if any you would put your Bruin hate aside you would also agree with me that UCLA looked pretty good. oh, I forgot taste it!! (_!_)
