The Trojans dropped two places to 18th in the AP Top 25 poll. It still seems ridiculous to me that the coaches' poll will not include USC. Why should violations from the Bush era matter for this year's team's ranking?

Because I said so.
I find it ridiculous that your headline reads "USC 16th" and your copy reads "The Trojans dropped two places to 18th in the AP Top 25 poll."
What ever happened to professional standards?
