Are there any restritions on current players attending High School games? Just asking because there was mention of a couple UCLA players, Rahim Moore and Dietrich Riley, attending the St. Francis vs Serra game this past weekend and although Riley attended St. Francis I do not understand how that would be allowed considering how many high profile recruits Serra is carrying (Farmer, Lee, Gibson). I would think that would be an unfair advantage to have current players attend potential recruits high school games.
A: No, USC players are allowed to attend their high school games. This is one area the NCAA is relatively sensible about.

The Big Ten now has 12 members. The Big 12 has ten members. Can you confirm the rumor that the NCAA has hired The Count from Sesame Street to be their new conference consultant?
A: But the Pac-12 will have 12 members. That shows you how little the Pac-10 thinks of its brand. I don't blame the Big Ten for keeping its name. It's a classic image and carries a lot of tradition. Besides, Big 12 is already taken.

What are the chances of Chris Gallipo starting at weakside LB?
A: He is going to need to start somewhere next season and that is a possible spot although I think he is better-suited at the strongside position. He will probably keep starting as long as Malcolm Smith is out. But Galippo is actually very valuable to USC for the next 14 months because he can play three different LB spots, so he should be on the field quite a bit.

"how little the Pac-10 thinks of its brand".......there you go again always looking at the negative side of something. How about because the PAC is the brand and the number 12 represents how many members it has. It's ridiculous that the Big 10 has 12 teams and the Big 12 has 10. The Big 10 made the mistake of allowing the Big 8 to have that name in 1964. When the Big 8 merged with the Southwest conference it became the Big 12.
My question about Chris Gallipo is founded on the fact he doesn't seem to confront well at the point of attack, whereas his running down plays from the weakside seems to fit. He doesn't need to read the play headon and is much more effective from the weakside.
We love the Meg Whitman ad on your blog!
Where did the Jet Strip one go?
The Big Ten should just change their name to "The Big X." The "X" would be like the "X" in algebra in the 8th grade -- an unknown number that you have to figure out (for instance, 2+X=14-2).
For traditionalists, they can pretend that it's the Roman Numeral X and it's still ten.
Pure genius... The Big X.
