They were booing Scott Wolf.

I sat near that endzone, and everybody was counting down the game clock for the offense. It was a product of our frustration as we have had enough of false-starts, holdings, and delay-of-game penalties. We've been dealing with that crap for the past few years, and it's stuff like that which always stalls our drives. In yesterday's case, our drive stalled at the 1 yard line b/c of that delay-of-game penalty (if I remember correctly). As long as our players keep shooting themselves in the foot with these bone-headed errors, I'm all for patronizing them. Seriously, you can't just look at the f-ing play-clock and call time out if it goes down to 1?!?! It may not have been an issue yesterday b/c it was a blowout, but it's these types of penalties that cost us victories in close games.

Goatboy is such a liar ... he got his ass booed plenty of times at USC. Does the 2nd half vs ASU in 2006 ring a bell Goatboy ? And if you didn't hear boos from the SC section in the 2006 UCLA game ... you are as dumb as you look.
Enjoy your bye week Goatboy ... but be prepared for a close game vs Oregon. And don't choke like you always do.

Like "fartnuggets" above said, it was just frustration with what started out as 1st and goal from the 1/2 yard line turned into 1st and goal from 11 and ended up with USC kicking a field goal.
That being said, why is it that the play clock at almost every other stadium is field level and in the QB's line-of-sight, but at the Coliseum we have them in awkward, hard-to-find places?
