Cal Wins If . . .

| | Comments (4) |

Golden Bears coach Jeff Tedford wants to do something besides living off that 2003 victory over the Trojans. The Bears actually want to win a game they are expected to lose this season. Cal forgets it is Cal.
Quarterback Kevin Riley decides even he can find the holes in USC's generous pass defense. Tailback Shane Vereen gains 125 yards.

Coach Tedford will devise a great plan (as will the offensive coordinators who have yet to play SC) that sets up advantages against the Tampa 2 defense knowing SCs defensive coordinator (who thinks his games are still on Sundays) will keep his players in it no matter what the score is and no matter how many minutes are left in the game. Makes it kind of easy for Coach Tedford....

Tedford's got it waaaaaay easy. Especially considering he'll have Saturday's off next year.
