Mark these words- total revenue sharing will make us the ACC of the West.
We need to at least keep a bigger share of gate receipts. We rent our stadium. Unless the PAC 12 wants to buy us one we need more money.
USC, UCLA and any other team with bigger following needs to be given a leg up. No one will watch our conference to see Wazzou or the Beavs on a weekly basis except their tiny markets. We need to pull the big market eyeballs and the teams with the national following- SC primarily and then the second level like the Huskies, UCLA, the Buffs, Cal, Oregon and then the next level of big market guys like Arizona schools and Utah, and so on.
We have to have a Bama, Florida, LSU and cycle in a Tennessee, UGA.
But some teams also have to be So Carolina, Vandy, Ole Miss, Miss State, Kentucky and Auburn (thow them in there too) who really aren't good very often but they get a moment to be in sun.
Here is my two cents regarding the PAC 12 Divisions.
NORTHERN DIVISION:
California
Oregon
Oregon State
Stanford
Washington
Washington State
SOUTHERN DIVISION:
Arizona
Arizona State
Colorado
USC
Utah
Ucla
And when scheduling intra-division games always schedule USC/CAL/Stanford/Ucla every year in order to preserve these rivalries year in and year out.
