-- USC defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin on the playcalling of his son, Lane Kiffin.

Looks like the young Kiff might be an offensive genius. And he's only 7 games in!! Scary to think how this offensive machine will look by game 13 when we own the Rosey bowl

Where's Yoda? I feel like lite sabering something...

Sure Monte, the next close game and Goatboy will choke it away as usual.

@Lane Kiffin, in case you didn't notice, Coach Kiff broke USC records on offense calling plays in 2005. The dude knows how to utilize talent, take advantages of mismatches (see Ausberry), and play to the offense's strengths. FIGHT ON KIFF!

A question I posed before the season was if the Leinert/Bush success was because of Chow's Offense or Kiffin's Offense. Looks like Chow is solely a QB development guru amd Kiffin is the real deal. I am also convinced that the lack of hitting in practice may be benefiting the offense. The starting O-Line has been the same all year, and the team looks alot fresher than in past years.

Section 12 -- Being no fan of Norm Chow, I'll keep sayin it. Can we let this guy fade into oblivion. He rode the coattails of other college coaches, and their recruiting abilities to success --Edward & Carroll. He was mostly unsuccessful in other places. Has the hubris to consider himself a head coach, but lacks the attributes needed beyond ability to be OC. (My argument is simply this: Despite many interviews and opportunities, no one hired him as head coach.) Chow's been handed supreme talent on a platter to work with. (The Joe Torre syndrome" remove the talent and the coaching success fades quickly).

If he's so damn great, why does UCLA suck. (Neuheisel is awful, but Chow adds to the stink.) UCLA has no standout QB in the making. Again, if he's such a Heisman maker, why have UCLA's last three QB's sucked so badly. The irony is that one kid who showed promise (Bethel-McCloud) bolted following Neuweasel's arrival.

Check back after they fire the coaches or he quietly sulks and quits...and lays blame on Neuheisel for the house fire.
