USC freshman wide receiver Robert Woods is in such good shape that Lane Kiffin does not need to rotate him during the game. Even senior Ronald Johnson rotates to stay fresh. Woods is not your average freshman in more ways than one.
It pains me to type this but Wolfie was right about something. I asked him in preseason for the breakout player of the year. He called it - Robert Woods. Nice work Wolf.
Barkley is one lucky man to have this guy to pass to for the rest of his college days. And next year he gets Prater and Ambles along with more of Baxter.

Wow, what a difference a win makes to all the 'gloom and doom' SC posters, and it even elicited a word or two of Trojan respect from the rude and crude uclaers. Heck, even the ol' Bucket had some praise, pasted around his usual infantile heckling of course.
I thought SC was bowl ineligible this year? Turns out that was wrong, because the Trojans take on the No. 1 team in the land, the Quakers, or Quackers, or something like that, I don't keep up.
In any event, if the Trojans win that game it will be remembered for years to come
And who said college football needs a playoff? Yesterday Ohio State and Nebraska were exposed in what was akin to quarter-finals playoff games. Next "quarter-finals" matchup is SC-Oregon
And wouldn't the Troy-Ducks game have been off the charts if SC could have held off Locker and Luck in the final minute? But heck, those two will be playing on Sundays, so it should not be too surprising they were able to pull out the SC games.
And has the SC offense again become the envy of the country outside of Eugene, Oregon? And nice imaginative play-calling sets this team apart from the boring crowd
Finally, and I am running out of breath with this 'when will it end' essay, but Kiffen has an understated sense of humor that is engaging if you listen carefully. Yesterday when asked if there is a better receiver that Woods in America, he said, "Well, if there is, he'd be 'one and done.'"
