As soon as I heard that Jarrett got popped for DWI, I figured the Panthers would release him. There have been a few USC players from the Carroll era that have succeeded in the NFL, but the list of NFL "failures" is growing.

Seattle already has one reclamation project - Mike Williams. I doubt that they want another in Jarrett, but who knows?

Since leaving USC, Steve Smith & Dwayne Jarrett have proven beyond a doubt what I suspected when they were in school.....1 is a Superstar Receiver and the other is named Dwayne.

I bet Jarrett was on the cusp of being on the team/being off the team, so it was an easy decision for the Jags. Now, if he had been a first stringer, I bet their "high moral standards" would have been compromised.

That said, you just know the usual ucla suspects will come onto the blog with every bit of bad SC news, full of their crass and boring comments. It is the same 6 or 7 dudes every time. Of course, these guys are not bruin grads, but simply SC haters, hateful of the legendary Trojans, jealous of SC's fame and fortune.

By reading all the commentary, it appears to me the trojan fans have really nothing to say, and who could blame them? their football team sucks, and if not for scheduling high school JV teams, they would be 0-5 right now and soon to be 0-6.

Anyone see scscin5? I wonder if that loser still thinks the trojans will be crowned the AP National Champions?

First of all, our offense looks tremendous, that's something positive I can say. Not so much for the defense.
As for JV teams? Ha
UCLA has:
Lost to K-State (unranked)
Beat Texas (unranked)
Beat Houston (unranked and Conference-USA)
Lost to Stanford at home (shutout 35-0)
Beat Washington State (unranked and in a close game)

Yeah.... go UCLA. You're ready to take on the world!
