Leadership 101

| | Comments (8) |

From Day 1 of Lane Kiffin's hiring, I said the true test would be how he leads and inspires USC when adversity hits. That was something Pete Carroll was pretty good at during his tenure. But motivation was his strength.
Kiffin's moment of truth comes a little earlier than expected, thanks to the Washington loss, but we will get an answer to what kind of leader he is this week (and the next couple after that).

All Trojans fans can answer that question right now...we don't need time to speculate...Stanford will embarrass the Trojans.

The real question for Toy is how long will Pat Haden allow this fraud-of-a-coach to destroy the program?

Lets hope that if De Rio is fired... this agony will only last one year...you don't have to be Kreskin to see where the Trojans are headed.

Kiffin make Dorrell look competent...ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, really ALBY? Did Dorrell even have a winning record? Kiffin is 4-1, relax. I know USC is always on your mind but go worry about your baby blue pansies.

Like him or not, Kiffin was not left with alot of talent compared to the level several years ago. How many potential first round draft picks are there on this team recruited by Pete Carroll? How many 1st round draft picks were there last year? The talent level has been on the decline since the 2005 signing class (graduated in 2008) that was fueled by the 2004 National Championship.

lbc trojan, ALBY is serving you up a hot sandwich full of beef, cheddar, and truth. Incidentally, Dorrell may be available, if SUC reaches out to him.

Section 12: That's bull. We have a team that has the potential to have a winning season and if we were bowl eligible we would surely win our bowl game.

What's killing this team can be summed in two words: Lane Kiffin.

I've never liked him, even when he was an assistant and now he is blindly leading our team down a terrible path. I just hope Haden has the cojones to get someone better for us.

@USConquer: The Kiffins were able to go toe to toe with Florida & Alabama in Year 1 at Tennessee with a QB like Jonathan Crompton because Tennessee had some decent players on Defense. We have J Casey & S Wright and that's about it. Fix the Defense and the issues are Fixed. It ain't the coaching.

Oh no. It is the coaching. Did you see the look on Monte's face in each of the first three games? Utter disbelief at HIS defense falling apart. USC has a lot of talent---no question about that, but the rolling Kiffins are not living up to the hype.

Stop being a Kiffins apologist.

We have a talented offense. And Lane Kiff couldn't climb over the hill and beat Washington? I mean, come on, it's just Washington.

Toe to toe? Florida beat Tenn soundly and the Alabama score doesn't reveal the tale of the tape.

Kiff is bad karma for our program. We can do better. Fight On!!
