Off The List
At least Lane Kiffin is off the top 10 of the coaches hot seat this week. So is Tim Brewster but he was fired by Minnesota.

To use a Jersey Shore term, Neuheisal is "creeping" up the list I'm sure!
Never have understood why UCLA can't field a consistently good football team with the excellent HS and JC football right in their backyard and the good reputation of the university. They went out and hired a pretty good coach AND Norm Chow and they're still in the bottom tier of the Pac. Not like I want them to have a shot at beating us sometimes, but come on, this is an embarrassment to the conference! Perhaps it's the low expectations of the fans. Maybe if Bruin fans spent more time pressuring their university with a "win or get out" mentality, and less time hating on USC something might happen. Meanwhile here at USC we lose a couple of games and the sky is falling, our first year coach is instantly on the hot seat, and we're all calling on coach to fire his dad. Our fans' expectations are out of line with all reality, but then again our program delivers year after year.
North Texas' Todd Dodge also canned, but then current events isn't really Scooter's strong suit.
How's that investigation into USC getting NO VOTES in the Coaches' and Harris poll going? The outrage!
