The USC ticket office just sent out an email trying to fire up fans by saying ESPN GameDay questioned their enthusiasm.
``ESPN Gameday will also be returning to USC this week and they have publicly
questioned the passion of USC fans & challenge you to make a strong showing.
Gameday begins airing at 6 am outside the peristyle end of the Coliseum. All USC
fans are encouraged to attend.''
If being passionately enthusiastic means having to show up at 6 am, then I admit I'm only mid-afternoon enthusiastic.
But will the Game Day crew eat bacon-wrapped hot dogs bought from illegal street vendors? That's what I call passion.
Well why don't they sent out the ever gregarious Pat Haden to rile up the crowd. He loves to shake hands and smooze why worry about a thing. Garrett strengths the dynasty he swoops in to claim the glory.
Haden is the best thing that has happened to SC in a very long time. BTW, has anyone heard about a major announcement from Haden to be made at 9am Saturday?
ok 1. the show stats earlier than other locations. when the show starts at 10 am or 9 am on the east coast or central ppl are already awake, thats why the crowd isnt that big at the Coliseum.

wow. it appears, as reported by wolf in his video piece, that the trOJies are scared!! while The Cadre has been loud and proud in the run up to big game, the usual SOuthern Cal honks are quiet as trembling little lambs....

Hey Scot, I've always wondered who that guy with the Washington State flag is, perhaps you can post a picture of him/her on here...that guys has been traveling to every location of "Game Day" since day one.

I'll admit it, I'm spoiled. In past years, when SC was undefeated and every game felt like a playoff game, I followed the team around the country to Auburn, Nebraska, and Ohio St and on and on.
But now that there is no chance for even an A.P. title this year, I am not up for any game, but ask me again at kickoff.
