Rams 20, Caesarhawks 3

Win. Lose. Win. Lose. This is why I didn't think much of Seattle hiring Pete Carroll. You can get someone to go .500 for a lot less than $6.5 million and a suite at Qwest Stadium.
Bonus points for losing to the Rams, a team Seattle was 10-0 against.
And extra credit to offensive coordinator Jeremy Bates for scoring three points.

4 games in and Scott has already passed judgement on the USC-hawks. Child please! I can only imagine what Scott said during Pete's 2001 USC season.

Same with Kiff. No evaluation of the players, sanctions, learning curve for new system, new staff chemistry. Nope, lose 1 game and Carroll and Kiff suck. Double child please!!!

DFW -- Who in the world is a hack reporter to be passing that kind of judgment anyway? What has Wolf ever accomplished to make him think that his opinion is worth anything more than the ether it now floats on. It can only be described as delusional hubris.

A bitter loser with an axe to grind. Whatsa matter Wolf, PC never give you due love??

oh here come the Caesar supporters since he left the program in such great shape...but then again since fans accept Pete and his .500 record, I'm sure that won't be the same sentiment in Seattle...

what's wrong Free Thinker, can't you handle the fact that Pete is being exposed again?

Time will tell if Carroll is a successful pro coach and history will write its own judgment. AS for his time at USC, Pete will be remembered as one of the moat successful college coaches of all-time.

That does not invalidate my point that Wolf comes off as a smarmy loser with an axe-to-grind approach. Nothing sadder than a never-been who uses the minuscule podium that he has to inject his negative opinions into his coverage. If he worked for a better paper, they would not tolerate it.

the greatest college coach of all time? who brought four years of NCAA sanctions to the university where he was at...helped to eliminate a Heisman Trophy at USC... and take away a national title....

it does invalidate the fact that you along with a number of USC fans are unwilling to see reality for what it is Free...nothing sadder than loser fans that can't see reality for what it is....

Pete will NEVER be a great pro coach....you are a sad person, period
