The 200, 100 Club
Jake Locker's performance against USC (310 yards passing, 110 rushing) was not that unusual. The last time a QB passed for at least 200 yards and rushed for 100 was former Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli last season (222 yards passing, 164 yards rushing).
What's the over/under on Luck's pass yds this week? 400? 450?
Since this has been the type of QB and offense that has killed SC over the last 5 or 6 years, why don't they recruit QBs like this and swallow their NFL want-a-be pride and incorporate some of this style. Maybe not play a total spread with a running QB, but how about having a QB who can take off on 3rd and long and move the chains. This is a huge demoralizer for the defense.
