There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that Oregon is the best team in the country. While the Horned Frogs were steamrolling a powerful 1-7 team, Oregon overpowered an SC team that is easily among the top 20 in the nation, if not better. I can't wait to laugh at you at the end of the season when TCU gets blown out by a top-tier team.

Boise State played Oregon in 2008. Boise won in a high scoring shoot out. Boise State played Oregon in 2009. Boise won in a low scoring slugfest (literally). Boise has almost all of their starters back from 2009.......So under what objective measure is Oregon considered better than Boise State? Obviously the SEC plan....you can't get beat by who you don't play.

Scott, if TCU puts a huge beatdown on Utah, then you can have the right to think about it.

But to do it today? You just lost all your credibility.

3. Nebraska
4. Boise St
5. TCU

With a drop off after #5 and a bigger dropoff after #8.

I still see USC being able to win games against #9 on down. (on my list) And maybe winning against 7,8.
