So much to say about this loss. But here's a great quote from USC coach Lane Kiffin on Washington's final game-winning drive.
W e weren't going to stop them,'' Kiffin said. ``We were dead.''

Good thing theres no tackling during the week or the game would have been over at the half.
Creampuffs in the pre-season, no tackling in practice and you expect to compete with most of the Pac 10?
Too many other issues to mention. My advice...get back to basics. Unfortunately/fortunately your head coach AND STAFF, have their heads so far up each others a$$'s...they drink more "kool aid" than "science 5" and a few other knucklheads on this site.
here it comes, again....get used to it...
This WILL BE YOUR YEAR!

If you weren't going to stop them Lane, then why did you try to kick a field goal? That was terrible game management right there. It was third and about four on the Washington 25 yard line and you pass and then kick? This isn't a punt/pass/kick competition, this is a football game. You have to run it down their throats and put them out right there. Everyone in the Coliseum could see the defense wasn't going to stop Locker. They hadn't done it all night. And you can't rely on their receivers dropping every pass in sight.
I put the blame for this loss on Kiffin's shoulders. He was playing not to lose near the end of the game and they lost. The football gods demand a loss when a team plays not to lose, and they served one up for Washington tonight. Kiffin's got to get this team playing with passion - flying to the football on defense and taking no prisoners on offense. This team is flat and they need some inspiration and better coaching to overcome it.
Get with the freaking program, Lane. The NCAA can't sanction the endzone, but you've got to be ballsy enough to try get there!

Gee, Lane, you "weren't going to stop them"? Wow, do you think maybe that kind of confidence in your defense is why they suck so badly.
Fire your dad. He must be on life-support up in the booth. Has anyone actually seen Monte's lips move up there?
