Barkley Vow
USC quarterback Matt Barkley said he would play against UCLA in spite of his sprained ankle next weekend.
``There's no doubt about that,'' Barkley said. ``It just stinks we lost. It's not a good feeling. Our guys fought but came up short.''
Yeah, because Barkley finished games any better than Mitch? Nobody stepping up and getting it done.
Barkley, I really hope you don't play with a sprained ankle, I don't want to hear excuses after the asswhooping your trOJies are going to get at the hands of Ayers, Zumwalt, Moore, Dye, and Westgate...and of course the golden arm of my boy Richard Brehaut.
Bark gonna take one for the team, what a guy. Will the receivers try to catch next week, will defense try to stop the run? Mustain didn't do that badly, what difference is Bark if he has no support.
lol - you'd almost think Barkley didn't have anything to do with the other 4 losses. UCLA will take a hobbled MB over Mitch any day of the week.
Barkley, you're a great kid, a true Trojan but for the love of GOD, stay off the field until next season. Let your ankle heal. We need to follow a Doctor's cred here --- "Do no harm".
I would feel better about Barkley as "leader" if he said something half-way nice about Mustain's efforts and RoJo. Instead, Bark seems to be only about Bark.

@trojan 70, there is very little difference between our "great" teams, they have one thing in common though, they both suck.
The difference is that UCLA remembers what happened last year with the unwarranted bomb by USC and the ghetto celebration by the USC players that ensued after the game, especially Blake Ayles.
Thant, and the fact that USC will not have their usual 30,000 fans there, most have opted to not attend this year's game, or any other game for that matter, proof? 79,000 fans last night? with more than half being ND fans?
UCLA fans will be louder than ever and the players having pride to play for while USC has shown they have no pride left in them...Kiffin has lost his team for the year, while UCLA may be down but going down swinging. Yes, that's right UCLA will whoop USC's ass next Saturday.

Where do you get your facts? Half of them ND fans? Where you there? I was. Far mor USC fans than ND. When was the last time ucla sold out the Rose Bowl? 1998 I believe.
