BCS standings are out and even the BCS has Oregon at #1. Wolf may be happy to know that there is another moron in the AP poll who has TCU at #1.

Wolf had Texas at #1 at the beginning of the season. Now, besides losing to that train wreck in Westwood, the Longhorns have lost 4 for the first time in eons. Wolf really knows his college football.

Wolf knows West Hollywood. And, he knows more about futbol than football.

You read Wolf for the snide remarks & his personal opinions which are often based on how he feels about the subject. Not for intelligent insights..

Wolf! The NCAA only allows 72 players to travel which is more than we have on roster. Had we had a full squad-USC would have used more and Oregon would of been FORCED to use more to keep up with our 2nd&3rd deep. Your stat proves what Kiffin has been saying about depth being an issue although there is no doubt that was not your intention.

@Mo -- You hit the Wolf on the bald head. Most of his stories are lame anyhow. If you want real coverage, read the Times.

FtheNCAA like your name. But this game was home obviously, and USC has more guys on scholie who are allowed to play.

Secondly, USC would have only had thre

Jordan Campbell had been indefinitely kicked off the team and he wasn't doing nothing but drinking up gatorade anyway.

Jarvis Jones was injured and USC would not medically clear him. It happens to EVERY program but it wasn't a special loss nor was it due to NCAA.

Malik Jackson was out after he made it clear that he was told he was barely going to see the field. He wasn't in esteem with the new regime and became audible about it. No loss there.

Byron Moore was a redshirt frosh who didn't like it at SC and went to a JC. Ironically he felt there was TOO MUCH depth, so, so much for sanctions.

Don't forget, several players followed Kiff and we pulled in the top 1 or 2 draft classes, AGAIN. E also had a few in transfers who became eligible who were scholie worthy. Nothing stops SC from filling out all of its scolies out and there is no difference now than all those years under PC when PC simply refused to fill out a scholarship roster with anything less than top players who were likely to go to the NFL. On the other hand, EVERY team peaks out at around 50 players who see the field at all, even though they are eligible. Even Special Teams and the O and D rotation doesn't use more players. So in short, SC is not short of players and definitely not short of players that got more offers than a kid with a perfect SAT score and GPA, and had more stars than a desert night.

So Kiff, you got blasted by a coach who also called you out saying he could only dream about having that level of recruits but that his players work harder and are better coached. His players then yapped about it after the game to underscore it. It is what it is, no excuses.

Good news is that USC has been so stingy with scholies that next year and the year after we will be carrying the same amount of scholie players probably that PC left us with.

We just probably won't be able to be more careful because either this four or five star loaded roster (highest number in the country) is filled with kids who are caught up in their hype and waiting to go to the NFL, or our coaching isn't that great. Or both.

These are just the ones that comment regularly. I never see this many USC fans commenting on Jon Gold's blog. Most of the time there are none at all. It's pretty pathetic. UCLA fans, you should really try to realize how bad it makes the school you choose to be a fan of look. Seriously.
Your comments might be in good fun to stir up the rivalry, but maybe you should consider waiting until there is ACTUALLY A RIVALRY. One-sided domination of USC over UCLA is nothing to be proud of. Come back when you win a few. Until then...

FIGHT ON!!!!!

Again, these bruin trolls can't be alums from ucla. No grad from such a fine school would spend so much time on another school's site.
