Full Team
Apparently NCAA sanctions prevented anyone from USC being on the Pac-10's first-team All-Academic team.

"General Studies" as a Junior? When I went to college that was called "Undeclared" but you couldn't be "Undeclared" as an upperclassman.
Where is Vontaze Burfict on this list?
Seriously though.... Why are there some players on the second unit that have a higher GPA than the first unit at the same position? (e.g., first unit - DL Kevin Kooyman, Washington State (2) Sr. 3.18 Management & Operations vs. second unit - DL Ernest Owusu, California Sr. 3.31 Political Economy)
Is performance on the field also considered?
On-field performance is considered, but seriously, Luck majoring in Architecture at Stanford is second team with 3.51 while Threet is first team with a 3.82 in general studies at ASU? If you go by US News' rankings, Stanford is #5 with an 8% acceptance rate while ASU is #143 with a 90% acceptance rate.
But performance can't matter that much, since there are seven Washington State players on the first team.
Sorry, Scott, but I can't take this one seriously.
Lots of dullards on that list. When a 3.01 in sociology can make it onto the 1st team, well......... And there is no bigger joke major than communications, just ask any post grad admittance officer, they laugh at them.
Three Bruins and only one trOJan...it shows who really owns and runs L.A.
