Grant Departs
USC spokesperson James Grant resigned to become assistant vice chancellor for strategic communications at UC Riverside. Grant was a refreshing person to deal with during the prickly period when the inaccessible Mike Garrett and Steve Sample were bungling the period when USC was under NCAA investigation and dealt with sanctions.
