There are reports that Markeith Ambles is no longer on the team, do you why Markeith Ambles was kicked off the team or did he leave?

Gut feeling...who's starting at QB Saturday - Barkley or Mustain?

Scott I posted this earlier but maybe you can give me the answer.

I don't know the "letter of the (ncaa) law." but doesnt allowing someone who is a registered agent to drive around campus in a golf-cart with his agency's logo on the cart -- a "lack of institutional control."

sc is a private school -- does a student have a legal right to drive a golf cart around campus with his company's logo on it???

now we are hearing that compliance people talked with the golf cart drive last week

WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST KICK HIM AND HIS GOLF CART OFF CAMPUS (at least the golf cart)

now we are seeing all these pictures -- thank goodness they are from 2009.

i hope this doesn't grow into a bigger story

USC has a sheisty little schmuck running around campus and acting as an agent. Is there anything the school can do to get him kicked off campus? Can they expel him for putting student athletes in jeopardy? Can they confiscate his douchy little golf cart? Or can he pretty much operate with impunity since we live in a free country?

My opinion is that this little d-bag is potentially very bad for the school. What do you think?

During the OSU game Barley was throwing high on the short routes, short on the deep pass's, and all were wounded ducks! Why is he still incapable of making an accurate, tight spiraled pass? It was a problem last year as well.

TV showed Barkley hobble over to James Rogers at halftime of the OSU game, chating and even laughing with Rogers while his team was getting killed (in no small measure because of Barkley). And at the end of the Stanford game, with SC hanging on the precipice, we saw Barkley on the sidesline smiling and chatting with his teammates. Question: shouldn't Barkely be a bit more serious/focused,firey? He's a captain and the face of the program. And did his coaches call him out on this?

With a possible NFL stadium in downtown LA looking promising is there a chance that SC deserts the Coli for the new stadium?

Do you think Pat Haden would consider hiring Jeff Fisher to succeed Coach Sunshine in spite of the lawsuit the Titans filed against SC for "stealing" Kennedy Pola?

Scott,

Has Lane Kiffin adopted the Pete Carroll mentality of having his team not show up for one game a year? Or does Mike Riley own USC?

Wolfie - I asked earlier in the season about the possibility of Baxter transferring. You said he'd probably at least consider it. Odds better or worse at this point?

No. 1-ranked Oregon came and went to the LA Coliseum, presumably with their legendary world famous cheerleaders. And no pictures?

Can you provide any information about Markeith Ambles and him not being on the football team? What happened?

USC's loss to Oregon St. was the worst performance I have seen from USC football in a long, long time. (Stanford and Oregon were big losses last year, but at least USC was "only" down 24-17 and 21-7, respectively, at the half in those games.) I think you have to go back to the Hackett era for such a poor performance.

Why do you think USC played so poorly in this game? Also, was the OSU loss an aberration, or a sign of things to come?

Considering recent "events," is the university "getting its money worth" from the newly empowered compliance department?

russt24 Author Profile Page said:

Scott, When Pete Carroll took over, one of the first personnel moves he did, was take Matt Grootegoed and move him from Safety to LB, proving that Pete believed that speed wins in college, not "prototype NFL size" that Hackett was preaching. Isn't moving Kennard from DL to LB the exact opposite of this approach and an example of Monte's NFL background?

Shouldn't Pat Haden come public (interviews on NFL Network, CBS, ESPN, NFL on Fox, etc.)with asking the NFLPA to suspend this "agent's" status, by jeopardizing student athlete's eligibility? This would take away the very thing this guy is after... the ability to represent an athlete in the NFL. He shou

Mr. Wolf, what are the odds that Harbaugh stays at Stanford next year? Does he go to the NFL or take over a bigger college program (e.g. Georgia)? Thanks.

How many times have you said anything positive about a USC program? Maybe you should see if the they have any openings at Daily Bruin.

Kennard doesn't seem to be the answer at MLB and being as this is the first time playing the position I can't blame him. Seems like the coaches are doing a disservice to him by keeping in him at the MLB position. SO do you think he gets moved back to DE at some point?

Is T.J. Bryant eligible to take a medical redshirt since he has missed so many games and he played in only about two games? Can you please find out and ask Coach Kiffin.Thank you.

You made it a point to claim USC hadn't been shut out in a half since 2001, then in your next post reminded your readers that USC made a 1 point improvement from playing on the road at Oregon State in 2008 when they were down 21-0 at half. Just wondering why! Did you want to make it seem bad, realize you were wrong, then just not care to erase your mistake or mention it? Just wondering!

The enthusiasm for the SC-domer game went down a notch or two due to the poor performance of the Oregon St game. SC looked like an intimidated team going into the game against a foe who had less skilled players and fewer 1st string players on the field. I feel the coaches did not prepare the team to play this game to win. Kiffin says "I'm shocked" when asked about the game afterwards. So he thought he & his staff did a good job preparing this team for the game? Scott, there is a problem here... I'm thinking I have seen this before, like in the Paul Hackett-Larry Smith days!

With Oregon looking as the top dog of the Pac-10, can you see them matching SC's success this past decade? Or do you think SC can knock off Oregon and get back to where they were at?

wolfman, need your help. the Cadre is planning on purchasing golf carts to use in our new business: giving $5 golf cart rides on Southern Cal's campus. at $2000 per cart i estimate we would break even after 400 rides on the first day!!! (not expecting any tips, however). the trOJies on your blog are always bragging about how rich and powerful they are so why should they walk to class like at State schools??

we could even provide free rides to sick players going to practice!! heck, Barks could be our first customer!

so my question is: who should i call at Southern Cal to get this project moving??
