Same Dilemma
USC coach Lane Kiffin said tonight that Matt Barkley's biggest problem remains being too anxious to make throws in games. It's an enigmatic problem considering Barkley's made more than 20 college starts and should be comfortable in games.

Sounds about right to me. Barkley has yet to realize that single coverage normally means the offense has the advantage. He just doesn't cut it loose in those situations, and that's a problem, especially with athletes like Johnson and Woods out there. And if he wants to play in the NFL, he's gonna have to learn fast, 'cause if he waits until he sees the guy break open in the League, he's waited too long.
