USC safety T.J. McDonald said the defense was at fault for allowing Oregon's receivers to go virtually uncovered on some big plays.
``We had some blown assignments and coverages,'' he said. ``That's on us.''

I don't think there's any question... as to how wide open Oregon recievers were. But why? I think Oregon's tight-end made had a career on this game!This is as much the coaches fault...come on. I don't read any assistant coaches apologizing for their shoddy positioning...
