it's official....wolf has scoooooped the scoooopiest sweeeeeet scooop of the season!!!
don't worry wolf the majority of your readers appreciate your sugary sweeeeeet scooops!!!
when i say WOLF you say SCOTT!!
WOLF.....WOLF!!!!!
Goatboy Kiffin's offense smells. Same slow developing plays over and over. Good thing all the defenses SC has played suck.
"Even if the hearing is in January, however, the NCAA might not render a decision before the Feb. 2 signing date. That is significant because USC can only sign 15 players under current sanctions but is asking the NCAA to increase the total to 20."
No, Wolfbag, the scholie sanctions are stayed pending the Appeal. USC has decided to implement partial sanctions, however.
I guess SC should try to emulate a real juggernaut offense. Like Rick New Weasel's Cap Gun Offense. That really lights up the score board!!
Here is a great article from SI, where GEORGE DOHRMANN, a real sportswriter shares insights and knowledge.
November 08, 2010 - Snap Recovery - NCAA sanctions were supposed to keep USC down for years, but the Trojans may not follow the script.
An excerpt: "Burdened by NCAA sanctions, including a two-year postseason ban and the loss of 30 scholarships over three years, the Trojans aren't what they used to be. But they hung in with the No. 1 Ducks until the fourth quarter, and with sophomore quarterback Matt Barkley and other top talents (freshmen Robert Woods and Dillon Baxter, among others) returning and several top recruits on the way, USC looks as if it will remain relevant even while it waits until 2012 to compete for a BCS title.
...USC athletic director Pat Haden said last week that Kiffin has brought needed discipline and structure to the program, and he gave the coach a clear vote of confidence. "More and more, I like Lane as a coach and as a person," Haden said. "More and more, I think he is the right fit for USC."

TJ Simers also thinks differently than the Wolfman.
An excerpt: "...Kiffin has done a terrific job. The Trojans have not only been competitive and entertaining during these probation times, but Kiffin has yet to give Athletic Director Pat Haden any reason to apologize for something he has said or done."
This is what real sports journalists are saying!

For the most part the offense moves. The real problem is in the red zone and on the fringes. They left 28 points on the field Saturday night, which is pretty normal for this group. If Kiffin can figure that out this team can finish strong.
I have to applaud Kiff and the offense for actually scoring a TD before halftime in the 2-minute. Clock management and execution has cost this team multiple wins.
