D

RUNNING BACKS

Marc Tyler looked good in the Wildcat but nothing really special out of this group.

C-

WIDE RECEIVERS

With two of Pac-10's best receivers, getting open should not be an issue. But it was.

D+

Allowed two sacks, needed to dominate more at line of scrimmage.

C-

DEFENSIVE LINE

Intercepted a pass but Oregon ran through huge holes and wore defense down.

D+

C-

Often appeared as though no one within 10 yards of Oregon receivers.

D+

Hard to disagree in some areas. SC made plenty of plays here and there through 3 quarters, but ulimately, it was inconsistent and they ran out of magic in the end. Hoping for a 10-3 end to the season, with some fun wins on the road, and some blowouts at home (ND and the Rose Bowl). Thank God we're not UCLA!
Fight on!

LOL lbc. The only team SC's beaten that UCLA hasn't is Cal. Are you thinking that your 2-3 PAC 10 record is something that indicates future blowouts are likely? WSU played Oregon better than SC did.

On Lane's call, he said the Trojans had 20 defensive stops of Oregon at 3 yrd or less. The D-line was our best unit on both sides of the ball. B+ for the D-line. Not sure how any sane individual could grade the LBs higher than the D-line in this game.

LOL spedjones. Washington State almost beat the bRuins at home. Sacramento State played Stanford better than the baby bRuins.

Can't believe Wolf let Kiffin and his staff off so easy. I thought we may have had one of our better defensive games, considering the buzz-saw we were playing, but Kiffin should remember from his prior time at SC that the way to beat a quick-strike offense is by playing ball control and winning the time of possession game without turnovers. Those killed us. We simply had to score every time we had the ball in order to keep pace.

Is it just me or is anyone else getting sick of Lame Kiffin's deer in the headlights looks throughout the game. He's in over his head...and costing us points/games.
