What's Ahead?

Is this the way the future plays out?

Arizona State: W
Arizona: L
Oregon State: L
Notre Dame: W
UCLA: W

That would make USC 8-5. A pretty unforgettable season. I'd caution, however, that this is the optimistic view, because the odds of losing one of those three supposed victories seems greater than winning one of those two losses. On the other hand, beating your archrivals would make everyone happy, no matter how much those teams might be struggling.
Bottom line: There will still be plenty of twists the final five weeks.

Probably about right. I think they can beat Arizona - depends on what QB they face. Oregon State is too tough in Corvallis history tells us. Will beat both ND and ucla by 21 easy. How does that taste Bruin Rob!
Let's see if I can draw a butt caricature, no I won't reduce myself to that..

Sound about right Scott.

Across town, Ricky, Ciao and the bruinettes are looking at 3-9, possibly 4-8 depending on how many bonehead decisions UW's coaching staff makes in a few weeks.

wow, 50% of the posts here are about UCLA. Just goes to show who runs this town!

I don't see UofA as a loss. Maybe Oregon St.

Wait a minute, now 50% of the posts talk about Oregon State. Does that mean the Beavers run the town?

What if a town really was run by beavers? I wonder if it would be kind of like "Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas".

Now I know what to do with my winnings from the Oregon game -- a beaver habitat!

Hey Sped - occasionally you had something worthwhile to say, now incredibly boooooooring, just like your cadre buddy bucket. Bring something to the party OK?
Wow, we have another Rob entry...

"...beating your archrivals would make everyone happy, no matter how much those teams might be struggling"...for ruins and domers but not for Trojans. 8-5 is simply unacceptable at SC.

I do agree that there is an unusual amount of ucla-related talk on this board lately. Here are two possible explanations.

1. I estimate that at least about one-fourth or one-third of the posts on Scott's blog are made by bruin fans who, primarily because of huge insecurity and delusion issues, inexplicably and irrationally attempt to trashtalk. That level of trashtalk is typically effective only when the trashtalker's team is actually decent, but oh well.

2. In a down year when Usc may finish with a 8-5 record (by the way, ucla has had 8 or more wins in a season only once since 1998), it's nice to get some enjoyment by poking fun at the sad state of ucla in general, and bruin football more specifcially.

i am so sick of all this anti-Cadre talk!!! wolf's blog should be a big inclusive tent with room enough for all trOJies, Bruins, Ducks, and especially Beavers!!!

queer how some trOJies insist that only Southern Cal folk can come on here!! thousands of fans here to enjoy watching wolf expertly place his daggers of sarcasm into the backsides of pompous trOJies!! wolf understands that the hysteria that accompanied the corrupt regime of Caesar, Floyd and Garrett was nothng more than clouds in the coffee of trOJies: false accomplishments built on a foundation of lies and deceit!!

if loving wolf's blog is wrong, then i don't want to be right!!!!

AUUUUUUUUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Bahahahahaha SPEDJONES is so desperate to get under SC fans' skin that he keeps commenting the same comment ON EVERY BLOG POST, EVERY DAY. Hahahahaha what a pathetic loser, seriously! Hahahahahahaha.. keep it up sped! honestly doesn't bother me, I love it cuz it makes UCLA fans seem that much more pathetic LOL ;)
FIGHT ON!!!!

Negative Nelly as always the Sh**Wolf is. Ever the moron he is.

Let's consider the Oregon game a 7-point affair. If USC scores with 7 left as they were marching to do, then instead of a 21 point loss, it's a 7 point game with 5 minutes left. #1 escapes with a 7 point win. #10 Stanford escaped with a win. Washington; a total aberration.

Realistically, USC finishes 10-3. Start crying WolfCr**. Whatever happened to your #1 Longhorns, O' sage of the armchair gridiron?

Trojan Rewind Author Profile Page said:

hey Free Thinker....how did your boy Matt Barkley do in the statement game last weekend?...nice to see you are able to deal with reality with "USC could have scored with...blah blah blah"

they lost by 21...get over it...oh sage of the obsessed Wolf hater...

@freeStinker, if games would be played for 55:56 only against Washington and Stanford and for 35:00 against Oregon, USC would be 8-0 and looking to be crowned the AP National Champions, right!!?? I got news for you, they are played for 60:00 and they've lost 3 of 4 games and soon to be 4 of 5 then 5 of 6 then 6 of 7 then will beat Notre Dame and will end the season getting their assed kicked by the best college football team in Los Angeles, the UCLA Mighty Bruins. so taste it!! Now!! :p (_!_) taste it good!!

3-2 in our last 5?!? Scott, you don't know what you are talking about. If we play at Tucson and Corvallis like we did at Palo Alto, then we win both of those games. And, we should blow out the other three. 10-win season, baby!

BruinRob Author Profile Page said:

BTW usc LOSERS, remember that your trOJies are 2-3 in conference play, just one game better then the best team in Los Angeles - the Bruins, and after this saturday the trOJies will have the same record as the Mighty and powerful Bruins...trOJies have lost 3 of 4 games...USC SUCKS YO!!!!!

This wisdom is from a guy who can barely spell his own name consistently. This is the same bozo who frequently misspells words, said that Keyshawn Johnson wore #1 and probably ought to take “gross factual error” as his nom de plume.

This is the exact quote from Wolf’s story in the DN: “Kiffin mentioned that former wide receiver Mike Williams wore No. 1. It was also worn by Keyshawn Johnson but Kiffin did not name him.”

@BruinSlob: I hope you don't think I respond to you out of anger. Or that I'm annoyed. I honestly, truly love the comments that you post (Every single day on almost every blog post) because each and every one make you look not only like a total jackass, but like a complete moron. Hence, Bruin Rob is a Moron. You make ALL Fucla fans look retarded. Then again, UCLA alumni don't frequently comment on this blog. Just the losers with minimal education like you.
FIGHT ON!!!!

Again, no way these bruin trolls are alums of ucla. No self respecting grad from such a fine university would spend all day on another school's site.

"That would make USC 8-5. A pretty unforgettable season."

Ummm, I know it's only two letters, but your inclusion of "un" completely changed what I can only guess was supposed to be your main takeaway. That is, the 2010 season would go down as a completely FORGETTABLE season. Unforgettable? By whose standards. Certainly not by SC standards. Perhaps if the baby bears won eight games it would register on some level, but the Trojans have no business having only eight wins on their resume unless your talking about their record going into November.

BruinRob Author Profile Page said:

How far has the USC program fallen? well, a good indication is some of these delusional trojans are willing to accept an 8-5 season as a successful campaign, while other more delusional trOJies are still talking about a 10-3 season? LMAO give me a friggin break!! LMAO 7-6 is the best USC will do this year.

Oh yeah, TASTE IT!! :p``` (_!_)

It means nothing when some low-level sportswriter who can barely spell his own name consistently predicts an 8-5 season. This is wisdom from the same bozo who frequently misspells words, said that Keyshawn Johnson wore #1 and probably ought to take “gross factual error” as his nom de plume.

This is the exact quote from Wolf’s story in the DN: “Kiffin mentioned that former wide receiver Mike Williams wore No. 1. It was also worn by Keyshawn Johnson but Kiffin did not name him.”
