USC returns to Los Angeles today following Tuesday night's victory over Tennessee. With a 7-5 record that should improve to 8-5 after playing Lehigh, are the Trojans in good shape to make the NCAA Tournament with a strong Pac-10 record? USC's record might not be as important as its placement. The Pac-10 might only send two teams to the NCAA Tournament again, so the Trojans might need to look at that as much as their own record.

O'Neil has this team playing well. They are not very talented but they certainly play smart and hard. I expect them to make the NCAA tournament, especially because the Pac-10 is generally down. USC should end up with at least 10 or 11 conference wins. That will give them 18 or 19 wins before the conference tournament. A very pleasant surprise.

we might be good. other than the rider game(and where did that come from?) we've been in every game - including against every ranked team.

with two decent to good bigs - one very strong(stephenson), the other more skilled offensively(vucevic) - and with the addition of scorer fontan 20 wins and finishing toward the top of the conference is a possibility.
