And wouldn't you know it, this segment features a question on Jeremy Bates.

Q: VB's Office Plant said:
Did Jeremy Bates buy a house in Seattle? What are the chances he will be retained? Who are the logical candidates to replace him if he is not retained? Where do you think he might end up if he is not in Seattle next season? If Norm Chow had been in Seattle this year what would the Seahawks record be? Any inside scoop on Seahawk draft needs? Why all the SC questions on this blog.

A: I do not know if Jeremy Bates will return next year. Funny thing is a USC coach asked me this season what the odds were Bates returns? So he's under scrutiny in the coaching profession, if maybe not Pete Carroll. I know if I paid Pete Carroll $6 million per year, I'd want the best possible offensive coordinator.

i wanna kno wats the status on diamion stafford...i heard he was committed to nebraska

A: He did commit to Nebraska and is expected to attend school there in January but I understand USC spent a lot of time this month talking to him in order to see if he would change his mind.

Pete was one for four hiring OC's. Norm saved his rep and made him a hero ... Goatboy Kiffin, SUCKisian , and now Bates are turning him back into , well just Pete Carroll.
