Remember when USC fullback Stanley Havili punched cornerback T.J. Bryant for not running hard enough during a team competition last summer? Havili actually gained respect within the program for that punch. And one high-placed source said the punch prevented an even more beneficial action during the season.

``If it wasn't for that, he might have done something similar to get Dillon Baxter in line which was necessary.''

Come on SW, who's the so called hight placed source? or did you really just make this one up to have something to post today?

Wasn't it rumored that Dillon Baxter wasn't the hardest worker, on or off the field? Maybe Havili punched the wrong guy.

Leaders don't go around punching people. Especially when they are not expecting it.

Judging how uninspired the team appeared all season, I guess he should have punched a lot more faces, right? In that case, give Lane, Monte and Pat Haden a solid knock on the jaw, too.

That punch by brilliant Havili sure worked wonders for T.J. Bryant. Considering Bryant missed the season nursing a broken jaw and USC was without his help. No wonder Bryant wants to transfer out of USC.

I'm thinking that if Todd Marinovich could party like a rock star and still make genuine on-the-field contributions, that ole Dee Bizzle still has the oppurtunity to bring the house down, Bush style.

Havilli also blew his chance to make it to the 7th level of heaven with that punch. Oh wait, he punched a black guy so he's still OK.
