I'm really not mad at Reggie and his family for cheating. As it turns out, a common practice by many in the SEC and Ohio State. What I'm mad at is that he didn't pay off Lake early so this would go away and not damage USC.
Conquest is right. None of the NCAA investigations would have happened except Reggie was too cheap to pay Lake what amounted to tip money after all the tens of millions Rggie raked in for his NFL salary and endorsements. Once the NCAA caught notice, they started poking around and snactioned two of our other teams as well as the football program and hastened Pete Carroll's departure. For that Reggie should be forever banned like Shoeless Joe Jackson.
Ugly Bucket finally said something relevant other than his hypocritical and tiresome lovefest for Wolf-- money cannot buy true respect. Or as a famous line regarding money went: "How much better can you live, how much better can you eat?"
But any notion that these prime athletes are clean is, quite frankly, goofy thinking
