Thought For the Day

The NCAA request for Oregon to provide documents related to the school's purchase of recruiting services might turn out to be nothing. But does anyone else think the Ducks just might seek legal action if they are sanctioned? As long as Phil Knight wants to, that is.

Funny thing was that as always in my life I was rooting against ucla, and then I realized that a bruin victory would help SC perhaps capture a 4th place finish in the Pac-10, which would help them in their pursuit for an NCAA berth.

And now SC is beating Washington by 10 at halftime. I am not delusional, I know the Huskies will make a run in the 2nd half, but that 10-point cushion will make it an interesting finish.

And then the Trojans are at "home," or at least they are back in Los Angeles, and will be favored to beat Cal in the 1st game of the Pac-10 Tournament. Don't count SC out of the NCAAs quite yet.
