USC's women's basketball team is playing Toledo tomorrow in the final of the WNIT. This run has provided a feel-good atmosphere for the team and a nice springboard to next season.
So that raises an obvious question: Why did Mark Trakh and Michael Cooper (last year) consistently refuse to play in previous WNITs? Maybe this could have happened last season and given the Trojans a springboard they missed by packing up and ending their season prematurely.
