A rubber game played with aluminum bats. This is why college baseball won't ever be a big deal.

The loss to Cal in women tennis 4 to 1 should signal the end for Coach Richard Gallien after 15-16 years with no national championship and a best finish of one final four. No sweet sixteen this time. This season he had the #2 player in the country who was a senior and was ranked only 18th as a team. Lost twice to ucla to add insult to injury. Forget his claim of a #1 recruiting class when the four ranking bodies had them 2nd, 7th, 10th and 13th which adds up to a #1 how? The men conversely are going for a three peat of a National Title. Pat Haden take note, please!
