Mike Garretts reign of error with baseball will be tough for any coach to fix ASAP.
Aren't they technically still alive since they have six conference games left and they are six games behind? You can still be under .500 if you win the conference.
I don't see UCLA getting back to the CWS. Now Cal State Fullerton, that's a different matter.

Was Gillespie "on fire" ? No. Was he better than his useless son in law? YES ! Is the baseball program better now than he was there? NO. Tell us again how many great hires MG had, and leave PC out of it since Mr. Personality wanted to hire Lou Holtz, Dennis Erikson and Mike Bellotti.
