Advice To Kentucky

| | Comments (0) |

The NCAA informed Kentucky that coach John Calipari did not pass the 500-win mark because Memphis vacated 42 victories when he was the Tigers' coach.
But Kentucky should have done what USC did when Henry Bibby was basketball coach. Bibby told the school's sports information dept. that he did not want the 0-9 record he compiled when he was named interim coach after Charlie Parker was fired. So for nearly 10 years, the USC basketball media guide incorrectly omitted nine losses from Bibby's record.
The official Pac-10 and NCAA records did not match USC's own won-loss record for Bibby during this period.
