Barkley On NFL

| | Comments (3) |

Here's quarterback Matt Barkley on whether he would go to USC again if he could do it over again?
``Yeah, yeah. I absolutely would make the decision again,'' Barkley told Max Kellerman. ``Growing up in Southern California I've always wanted to come here so I guess I had a biased opinion when I was getting recruited
``Like I said before I really do believe it's one of the best ways to prepare you for the NFL with the style of offense we run and being in such a media market like LA.''
Does that mean Barkley is turning pro?
``I can't answer that right now,'' he said.

In my opinion, skill position players should probably go pro if they are likely to go high in the draft.

Linemen may be best served staying in school to bulk up but anyone else should probably go pro just to avoid risking injury in college. Yes, there's greater risk in the pros but at least they can (hopefully) get some guaranteed money.
