Omnipresent President

USC president Max Nikias attended yesterday's celebration for the men's water polo and men's tennis teams' national titles. It's difficult to recall a sports event Nikias doesn't attend. Whatever else he did in his first year, his interest in sports might rival former president John Hubbard, who was famously penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct on the sideline of the USC-Hawaii game in 1978.
Some fans might wish his intense interest in sports extended to suing the NCAA. But he's definitely a friend of athletics.

That picture is classic! JK looks like he's ready to fight Torin Harris and Haden looks embarrassed. All that's missing is Scott in a soccer jersey.

John Hubbard is the best. He is a great man.
