why do they call Haden bounce pass?

If users could post photos on this blog, I bet all the Bruins would be posting a Photoshopped version of that image with the crystal football removed, and Pete grasping empty air.

little miguel: the name Bounce Pass comes from the old Rams days, when Haden made a living giving the ball to McCutcheon and Cappeletti 70 times a game. but then when the playoffs came and they got behind, he would be throwing bounce passes 5 yds in front of Harold Jackson. i'll never forget the playoff game in the frozen tundra of Minnesota he couldn't even grip the ball with those itty bitty hands in the cold. me and the other kids were crying for days after that. in fact for years after, whenever a kid threw a pass short we would say "nice bounce pass, Haden!!"

Wow Buckethead, you are really witty with the "Bouncepass" Haden call. Compared to Pat Haden, how did some of the illustrious FUCLA QB's of the 1970's do over the years? Anyone here remember Rick Bashore, Steve Buckich, Jeff Dankworth, Bernard Quarles? Didn't think so. None of these clowns could beat USC, never mind even sniff an NFL career. So keep criticizing Haden as an NFL QB all you want. He still accomplished more than any FUCLA QB, other than Troy Aikman who was a gift transfer from .Oklahoma,along with the fact that he was a Rhodes Scholar. Keep opening your mouth and provide no doubt as to your stupidity.

Actually Buckethead, I stated FUCLA QB's from the 1970's, because thats when Haden starred at USC...two National Championships, two Rose Bowl wins, etc. And yes, Bernard Quarles played QB at UCLA in the late 1970's early 1980's. Look it up.
