USC's highly regarded 4 x 400 relay team suffered a big blow when it failed to qualify at the NCAA track and field championships. The Trojans finished ninth and the top eight teams qualified. USC was missing Bryshon Nellum but leadoff leg runner Reggie Wyatt was sick, which also hurt. That will impact the men's team's overall score.
