USC athletic director Pat Haden on this week's decision by the BCS to vacate the national title.
``It's been one thing after another over the last 10 months, but I knew what I was getting myself into,'' he said.
This is what we have representing our football program:
PH-This (another sanction) was not unexpected!
MG-They all wish they were trojans!
PH-We fully accept responsibility for those violations!
MG-I read between the lines and there was nothing but a lot of envy!
PH- We intend to win championships, but do it right!
MG-Today I got a purpose for really wanting to dominate for another 10 years!
If you were a college football player, who would you want to play for?
You could not have put it better dtksr1. Doesn't Pat HAden have a law degree? Why doesn't he do anything? Do we alumni and USC fans are missing something? Is there some information that NCAA has and USC doesn't want us to know? Since, NCAA has done everything they could do to punish USC, I really don't think NCAA has another chip that they can do, and USC is already in a situation that we don't have anything else to loose. Why are still trying to go their way?

I'd probably want to play for the guy who didn't staff the compliance office with one dude, the guy who actually knows who people are, and the guy who won't continuously antagonize the NCAA.
That being said, I do with Haden would lawyer up and sue the NCAA. I mean really, how could it get worse?

Oh, he's just being dramatic. It hasn't been so bad. I mean, Heritage Hall just got a new espresso maker.

Wo would you rather play for? Rick Neuheisel? C'mon.

Looking at Pat Haden's Bio, his personal achievements have been enormous. Though it is difficult for me to fathom his motives and objectives for the University or Football program, on one hand, he has been the poster boy for integrity and scholarly pursuits for student athletes, on the other, he has all the attributes of a politically correct coward!

Unfortunately I think you are speaking too soon, the blood lust vendetta fostered by the NCAA, SEC and east coast Media will not be quenched until Kiffin and Orgeron are hobbled and humbled as is the University.
Legacy notwithstanding.

Pat Haden is a farse... at least Mike Garrett would go fighting and expose even further what the NCAA is all about. PAt of course knows what he was getting into he strong armed the board of trustees and the reluctantly made MAx Nikias fire mike garrett so he could weasle his way into the job. Keep up the BS PAt
Paul Dees triple chin: Let me inform you about something... the compliance dept. is run, overseen and reports directly to? No not the AD (that means MG had nothing to do with it), the provost! Guess who the provost was during all this violation period? Max Nikias the now president of USC who reportedly asked Haden twice to take the AD position. Do you see a problem here? I certainly do. And I am still waiting for Scott Wolf to talk about this particular subject. He has been very quiet about this. I'm still waiting Scott...
