I'm surprised SC's 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 classes werent ranked since those were top 5/10 classes that did not yield any championship teams.
Totally agree with USCfan above. How does SC's 2006 team not top the list? Coming off an epic run, we pull in the #1 class. Stafon, Bradford, Gable, Moody, Ausberry, Patterson, Jamere Holland, Gerald Washington, Derek Simmons, Mike Morgan, Antwine Perez, Vincent Joseph...such a huge list of top recruits who never realized the full potential they were supposed to have. Whether this was poor coaching or just bad recruiting, I do not know.
2007 never fully realized its potential either, but there are still some quality players that produced from that class (RoJo, Galippo, Tyler, Rhett Ellison, Tupou, Malcolm Smith, O'Dowd, and McKnight).
